House of Ayni is immersive, experiential, and community-centered. We take hard-working professionals out of their everyday and immerse them in nature, combining an open space for collaboration and co-creation with workshops in design thinking, storytelling, holistic entrepreneurship and tools for strategic leadership and personal wellness.

Who this program is for:

The program is tailored for those working to address social issues in child sexual abuse, violence against women, indigenous rights, sexual violence, gender equality, immigration rights, human trafficking and others.

We believe that by bringing together top leaders tackling these issues, we can accelerate impact for these initiatives in local communities and invest in those often working for others to take time for themselves and their growth.

What fellows say:

House of Ayni was my date with destiny. The facilitators and staff are unique, highly experienced, multi-talented and care deeply for my journey. I have learned many new tools to think together, act together, to challenge ourselves, for better team building, connecting personal with spiritual not only focusing on work. It is both an intellectual and deeply emotional process of understanding who I am and why I do what I do; it has opened my heart and my head. It integrates all the parts of my work and myself into a holistic perspective. The aim? To learn to be more generous to ourselves and the world.
— Lulú Barrera, Founder, Luchadoras
House of Ayni is going to have a domino effect in my organization. The tools that I have learned in the program will help me and my team clarify our problems and design smarter interventions. I’m going to go back to my organization with a new model. I am going to teach it to my team, so that we become much more functional, effective and sustainable. At a personal level, I am taking from the program radically increased self-confidence and self-awareness of my own capabilities.

I came to HOA with the question of how can I better organize the million things that I have going on. I leave with the hope, the allies and the tools to organize all these projects and loose ends, to create a larger impact, and do so with new friendships with amazing people.

The rhythm of today’s world fractures our hearts. There’s no hope. There’s frustration around not being able to do everything we want to do. I came here with a fractured heart. Today, my heart is healed, because I find hope in myself, in my fellow Ayni participants who are now family, and in the international team that altogether helped me gain the confidence to raise my hand when I need help.
— Paty Anaya, Director, Misión Carácter MX, and Founder, Vivir en Voz Alta
